We are wasting.
Feeling sorry for our society.
The society has put so much emphasis on money. And prosperity has been over hyped we
have gotten every thing wrong from the onset, everybody want to pose with the latest car wear the latest dresses in town. Life on social media has done more harm than Good to this generation. We have all been seeing different things that are true and untrue. So many lives has been lost through keeping up with someone you meet on social media. Many girls and young boys has lost their innocence, meeting with different people on social media. Now in this society now, people can do anything to make money. People don’t consider Hard work as an option any more. Every one is concern with slaying on social media. No more morals and all this started from:
The family , family is the smallest unit of our society, what is happening in the society is a reflection of what is going on in their home.
Parent nonchalance towards monitoring their children has resulted to this menace the society is facing. Not that you should be harsh on your children but children needs a closer monitoring.
Wrong company is another challenge militating against an our society , this is common among the rich folks, children from wealthy background that has traveled to different foreign cities sometimes get caught up with serious bad character and things that shouldn’t be heard of a responsible personality. Eg taking substance ( drugs ). Cultism, the day you pledge your allegiance with any confraternity group you have only done yourself a worse sign up. You have sign your death warrant. Several of this confraternity groups were created for a more reasonable purposes . but look at what they have turn it to lately. Killings ,massacre, robbery and every other evil you can think of. Both the rich and the poor are guilty of this. is cultism was a thing of the tertiary level of education, but now you will find it in secondary schools .
And from the other side of view. The reason why society is full of irresponsible and wasting youths is because of poverty. Just look at it closely from this point of view when a parent cannot take responsibilities of their children, if they can’t get food on the table in the morning so tell me what will happen . imagine a sixteen years old boy taking the responsibility of his father by providing food on the table, a boy that is suppose to be in school collecting allowance from his parent, now the table has been turned. Just imagine an 18years old girl in the university that her parent can’t send her money to take care of her self, she’s even the one sending money home so that landlord won’t send her parent out of the house. So tell me how will such parent have the effrontery to speak to such child. where is she getting the money if not from Runs .
We are in a society where money must be made either in a legitimate way or the other round. No body cares about how you make your money anymore all they just want to see is "you in a Benz" , even relationship are suffering from this, big time, some ladies will tell their fiancé if you can’t horn (car ) don’t call me.
My point is that let go back to hard work . and Legitimacy.
Parent should pay a close monitoring on their children.
And poverty should be alleviate , internet should be strictly censored and monitor very closely.

ReplyDeleteOur homes needs quality education... What do I mean?? Every parents should be sensitized that child bearing isn't just for them to have offsprings which some part of the country believes without them the home is not complete, but that it's for societal development and thus the offsprings should be trained well... Educating children should not just be done by school teachers only ... Government too should provide good education and teachers should be scrutinized too to avoid abuse from them to the beneficiaries like its common in the tertiary institutions...however laws should be strictly adhered too which I believe will put some fears in us as to what to practice.
