of man, for man sees only the outward
appearance."
When you are uncertain, imagine standing
before Jesus in what it is you want to wear.
If you'd feel embarrassed in it, don't wear it.
True Christians try to be like God and accept
everyone. And if you sin, remember to repent
and confess it. God will forgive you.
If Jesus can talk to a Samaritan woman,
who had divorced multiple times and was
living with a man who was not her husband
or allow Mary, who was a whore to wash his
feet, then true Christians will be able to
accept you as your are, for that's how Jesus
took you.
Don't avoid a church simply because of its
dress code - if you are invited to attend a
church whose dress standards are different
than your own, go, if for no other reason
than to see how other groups practice their
faith. Wearing a head covering can be a
wonderful display of devotion and tradition,
so if you have an opportunity to attend a
church where one is worn, don't discount it
and embrace the experience!
