2. Go extra miles to learn on your own
3. Always sing from your file, don't come to
rehearsal without a file
4. If he/she says you should sing 'doh', don't sing
'ray' because you were thinking about the dress
you would wear to work tomorrow.
5. When the organist is tuning a music piece,
'shut your mouth up'
6. Listen when your choirmaster is making
corrections. Yes you have realized your error but
let him make the correction. Don't act like 'I TOO

7. That chewing gum in your mouth, do you know
that it will gum your voice? Don't chew gum at
rehearsal unless you are sure that you want to be
embarassed with a slap.
8. Dress decently. (Ladies take note)
9. Open your mouth and sing out. Why do you
have a mouth when instead of singing out you
are forming yanga. If you want to do yanga, go
and find a better place for that. If in any case you
are not singing out because you are shy, well,
learn not to be shy. (You can ask me help in
another post if you need me to help you do away
with shyness).
10. Com'on sing your part. Tenor take note.
Soprano is around so don't sing their part for
them, abi wetin una dey feel like?
11. Rehearsal is by 5 - 7pm, come by 4:45pm so
that the rehearsal can finish around 6:45pm. But
if you come by 6pm, please don't expect to finish
by 7pm.
12. Why is during choir practice the best time to
go and ease yourself? Please hold that thing until
after rehearsals.
13. Who told you that a choir master cannot also
make a mistake? Instead of frustrating his effort,
cooperate.
14. Tenor has made a mistake while singing in
